Mr. Brian J. Dolph has been overseeing the middle school building since 2014 when promoted from Assistant Principal to Head Principal. He also serves as the Assistant Athletic Director (2013) and the District School Safety and Security Director (2018).

Mr. Dolph holds teaching certifications in Business/Computer/Information Technology K-12 and Mid-Level Mathematics 7-9. His background includes teaching mid-level mathematics as well as high school entrepreneurship, marketing, Adobe software, Microsoft office, and Google platform business and computer classes. Mr. Dolph holds a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and a B.S. in Business Education from Robert Morris University and a Masters of Administration from California of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Dolph’s teaching career includes working in the South Side Area High School, the Big Beaver Fall Middle School, Dean of Students of the former Monaca High School before teaching mathematics and business education in the Central Valley School District and then becoming the Assistant and Head Principal.

Mr. Dolph has a diverse background, educational experiences, and leadership roles. He has served as past PAMLE Middle School Principals Association Western Region, President, pastPAMLE State Executive Board member, and past MAC Coaches President. He currently sits on the PAMLE Middle School Principals Association Western Region Board and is an active member of the Legacies Alive Gold Star Foundation.  Mr. Dolph resides in the Central Valley School District.

Ms. Hicks has worked in the field of education for the past ten years. She graduated from Slippery Rock University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, and a Reading Specialist Masters Degree. Most recently, she completed her Principalship certification at Point Park University.

Before becoming the assistant principal at Central Valley Middle School, Ms. Hicks taught 7th and 8th grade Reading Language Arts, and 6th-8th grade STEAM/Library Science/Family and Consumer Sciences at New Brighton Middle School. Ms. Hicks holds teaching certifications in Early Childhood Education N-3, Elementary Education K-6, Middle School Language Arts 6-8, Middle School Math 6-8, Middle School Science 6-8, Library Science K-12, Family and Consumer Sciences K-12, and Reading Specialist K-12.
